The Motor Free Visual Perception Test (MVPT-III) is a widely used, standardized test, meant to assess visual perception independent of motor ability. The test can be used with patients between the ages of 4 to 95, and is suitable for patients suffering from learning, cognitive, motor and physical disabilities. It is used both for screening and for diagnosing. The new version includes additional test items of a higher difficulty, that allow for the assessment of visual perception also in adults and adolescents. The test is comprised of items representing 5 visual domains: Visual Discrimination, Visual Figure-Ground, Visual Memory, Visual Closure and Visual Spatial. The subject can say or point to the answer, and apart from accuracy, reaction-time is measured as well. Completion time is approximately 25 minutes. The complete MVPT-III kit includes: 1 user’s manual, stimuli, 25 record forms.
