The Peabody Developmental Motor Scales Second Edition (PDMS-2), Assesses gross and fine motor skills of children from birth through the age of 5. This early childhood motor development program contains six subtests including: Reflexes, Stationary, Locomotion, Object Manipulation, Grasping, and Visual-Motor Integration, and takes 20-30 minutes to administer for each motor-related subtest or 45-60 minutes for entire assessment. The Peabody Motor Activities Program (P?MAP), included in the complete kit, is the instruction/treatment program of the PDMS?2. After a child’s motor skills have been assessed and the profile/summary form has been completed, select units from the P?MAP to facilitate the child’s development in specific skill areas.
